(7/25/2006) Ironwood HOA Annual Meeting - The date of the annual meeting of the Ironwood Homeowners Association has been set for Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the Boulder Country Club. Mark your calendar!

(7/25/2006) Fall Newsletter in September - The next issue of the Ironwood newsletter is scheduled for publication in September. If you would like to submit an article, announcement, or would like to make a request regarding a subject of interest, please contact Bill Hoagland, bill@hoagland.us.

(07/05/2006) - Ironwood Social
The Ironwood Social is planned for Sunday, July 9 at 5:00 p.m. in the grassy open area around the path north of the mailboxes. Fried chicken will be provided. Please bring your own beverage, a side dish or dessert to share and a lawn chair if you have one. Also, if anyone has a croquet set, please bring it.

Here's what we have so far: sweet corn, carrot cake, fruit salad, caesar salad, and a pasta salad. Please RSVP as soon as possible if you think you'll be coming and what you'd like to bring so that we can plan on how much chicken to order to the Social Chair, Julie Bosworth by email (therealboz@msn.com) or by phone (303-499-1511).

Meet at the mailboxes at 7:30 a.m. (to beat the heat) and work until 9:30 a.m.

(6/5/2006) - Website updated. The Website has been updated to include board meeting minutes through May 30, 2006 and financial reports through April 2006. The June 2006 Newsletter is now available on line (click on the Newsletter Button to the left)

(5/24/2006) - New Ironwood Directory. A new directory of Ironwood homeowners is now available on the Homeowners page. A copy will be also be mailed to all homeowners.

(8/15/2005) Annual Meeting Date Set. The Ironwood Homeowners Annual Meeting will be held at the Boulder Country Club at 7:00 pm on October 25th. Save the date!

(7/27/2005) Monthly financial reports now available online. Monthly balance sheets and cost reports are now available in the "For Homeowners" secton of the website. This is a password protected area of the Ironwood web site. If you need the User ID and Password, contact Bill Hoagland (303) 530-1140 or bill@hoagland.us.

(7/27/2005) Annual Painting Touch-up to be Scheduled. It's hard to believe that it has been amost a year since the buildings were painted. Our contract with Executive Coatings provides for an annual inspection and touch up, so if you have noticed areas that need some attention, contact Barbara Guthrie at Hast & Co. (303) 444-7575 or blguthrie@hast.com. We expect that Executive Coatings will be on site to complete this work in early September.

(7/25/2005) Volunteer Day Big Success! Thanks to Judith Mangus, Helga Burghardt and the many volunteers who braved the heat, the second Ironwood volunteer day was a big success. Ironwood has never looked better. Check out the pictures here.

(7/20/2005) Second Ironwood Volunteer Day - The Ironwood Landscaping Committee has scheduled another volunteer day on Saturday, July 23rd from 8-10 am. The grounds benefitted tremendously from the last volunteer day and this is just to touch up what remains to be done. I think we all agree that the grounds look better than ever thanks to the efforts of Judith Mangus, the rest of the committee, and all who volunteered. Participation is strictly voluntary. So, if you have the time, come out and lend a hand!

(7/18/2005) Ironwood Survey Results are in and a summary will be mailed to all homeowners and residents. It is also available here. The board will be discussing these results at the July 23rd meeting.

(7/15/2005) The Ironwood Board of Directors will be holding a regularly scheduled meeting at Bob Maynard's home (7294) at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 26th. (6/9/2005) New Ironwood Rules and Regs Posted. The new rules and regulations, after being extensively reviewed by all homeowners, were approved by the board on April 26, 2006. They are available in their entirety in the Rules and Regs section of the web site.

(6/8/2005) Ironwood Volunteer Day planned. Thanks to Judith Mangus (Chairperson of the newly formed landscaping committee) and several volunteers, the front entrance has been cleaned up and planted with flowers. This volunteer effort has saved the HOA several hundred dollars of your dues money. The landscaping committee has scheduled a volunteer clean-up day for Saturday, June 25th from 9-11. All homeowners and residents are encouraged to participate. In addition, all homeowners will be required to sign a Release of Liability/Waiver. More information will be posted at the mailboxes, or you can call Judith Mangus at (303) 581-0595.

(5/17/2005) Ironwood Homeowner Survey sent out to Homeowners. A survey has been distributed to homeowners which covers many topics of interest to Ironwood homeowners. The requested date for return of the form is June 3, 2005. This is an important survey for homeowners, since the board will base many of its decisions during the next year on the results of this survey. So please spend a few minutes and complete the survey!

(6/10/2005) Ironwood HOA Board Meeting Scheduled. The next board meeting of the Ironwood Board of Directors will be held at 5:30 pm on June 21st. If you wish to attend, please contact Merry Sue Clark at (303) 530-9015.

(4/22/2005) Ironwood HOA Board meeting - The Ironwood HOA Board will meet at the board conference room at the Boulder Country Club on Tuesday, April 26th at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.  If you have something in particular you would like to discuss, please contact Barbara Guthrie at 303-444-7575 so she can add it to the agenda

(4/22/2005) Ironwood Homeowner Survey. A survey of all Ironwood homeowners will be conducted in the near future. If you have any issues you would like addressed in the survey, contact Bill Hoagland (7253) 303.530.1140.

(4/22/2005) High Water Pressure Update. So far, new pressure regualtors have been replace in three buildings. If you are experiencing problems with water pressure, contact the property manager or any board member.

(2/1/2005) High Water Pressure. Several buildings have experienced high or fluctuating water pressure. We had a plumbing contractor come out and we have decided to replace the pressure regulators to each building. This will be done over the next several months.

(2/1/2005) New Committee to Review Dues Structure. At the suggestion of several homeowners, the board has established a new committee to review the current dues structure with regard to how the associations expenses are allocated. The new committee members are Merry Sue Clark, Wendy Smail, Paul Richmond and Mary Carson. For more information, see the minutes or call any committee member.

(2/1/2005) Ironwood Revised Rules and Regulations. The final draft of the revised rules and regulations was reviewed at the January 26th board meeting and will be published with minor changes in the near future.

(12/1/2004) Dues Increase. The board voted to increase the 2005 dues by 15% at a board meeting held immediately following the annual meeting. A letter will be maile to all homeowners.

(11/1/2004) Annual Meeting Held - Budget Main Topic of Discussion
The Ironwood Annual Homeowenrs Meeting was held on Tuesday, October 26th. At the meeting Bob Maynard was elected to fill the position vacated by Barbara Johnson. The meeting was quite lengthy, because of the amount of discussion on the budget and the proposed 15% dues increase.

Highlights

• The 2005 budget was reviewed in detail
• The status of the Ironwood HOA Reserve and the Hast Reserve Study was discussed. A proposal to begin to create a reserve of $50,000 through a surcharge to current dues was presented and discussed.
• Jim Moore presented the results of his 2003 Audit of the Association's books
• Ways to increase homeowner communicaions and involvement through the use of committees was discussed and received a generally favorable response
• Bill Hoagland presented the preliminary results of his investigation into Ironwoods water use and charges wase presented.
• Wendy Smail described the changes in the proposed update to the Ironwood Rules and Regulations and comments were invited. The complete draft of these Rules and Regs will be posted on this web site for all homeowners.
• After the meeting, the board meet briefly and elected Merry Sue Clark president to replace Bill Hoagland who will remain on the board.
  

(10/15/2005) Fountain Greens Draft Revision to Rules and Regs - Our master association, the Fountain Greens Homoewners Association has published proposed changes to the Rules and Regulations which, when adopted, will apply to Ironwood. They were sent out to all homeowners in June for comment, and they are also available on the Documents page. If you have comments, please send them to Barbara Guthrie, Hast & Co.

(10/1/2004) 2004 Annual Ironwood Homeowners Meeting: The annual homeowners meeting has been scheduled for October 26, 2004 at 7:00 pm at the Boulder Country Club. This will be an important meeting to discuss and make decisions affecting the financial future of the association. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

(7/29/04) Ironwood HOA Board Meeting! The next board meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on September 14th, in the Board Room of the Boulder Country Club. All homeowners are invited and encouraged to attend.

(8/30/2004 Special Board Meeting: The Ironwood Board met on Monday, August 23rd for an unscheduled meeting to discuss several budget items prior to the September 14th meeting. The minutes of the meeting are posted on the Board Minutes page.

(8/30/2004) Painting Project - The painting project is essentially complete. The storage container and portable toilet will be removed from the site during the week of August 30th.

(8/14/2005) Painting Project - Final Touch up: Executive Coatings will be at the property on Saturday, August 21st between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon to do the final touch-ups (door edges, stuck windows, missed spots, etc.). Please email Barbara Guthrie or call at Hast & Co. (303) 444-7575 concerning to specific areas that need to be addressed. If you have areas that need to be addressed, please plan to be at home or have someone there during that time. A letter was mailed to all homewners with more information.

(August 2004) Gunbarrel Community Western Roundup, Saturday August 28th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Gunbarrel Square Shopping Center. This year's activities will feature a barbeque cook-off hosted by KT's BBQ as well as activities for kids. Major sponsors include Leanin' Tree, Flatirons Bank, FirstBank and the Gunbarrel Square Shopping Center. (Lefthand Valley Courier, August 2004).
